I cant seem to find Joel Osteen's sermons online in text. I know they are on video and audio, but is there a website where it is in text to read?

He is a nice guy, however, he makes people think that they have to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps. God tells us that we can do nothing apart from Him. We are dependant on God for everything. By giving our lives over to God, we are putting our trust in Him. We do not place trust in ourselves. God alone is the Rock. Also, God says to expect persecution. If people hated Jesus without cause (and He was sinless), how can we expect people not to persecute us and we aren't even sinless? As in the story of Job....the devil was allowed to persecute Job and Job's friends all told Job it was because of Job's sin. God lets us know that sometimes bad things happen to people and it's not always necessarily their fault. Even when Jesus' disciples asked Jesus if a blind man was blind because of his sins or the sins of his parents, Jesus told them that was not the case. Certainly our sins can bring suffering upon us, and sometimes people get abused even when they have not done anything wrong. Also in some of Joel Osteen's interviews he makes it seem like there are more paths to God, then just through Jesus alone. This is not in line with God or His teachings. Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that no one can come to the Father, except through Him. He alone is the door and the Source of Life. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [2 Timothy 4:3]

I enjoy this man so much. He makes me laugh and always has a message behind every sermon. I enjoy how he uses himself as an example, he seems very humble and loving.
