Ich wollte schon seit langem dorthin fahren.
Ich wollte schon immer einmal dorthin.

The second one is not a literal translation but more colloquial.
I used "fahren" as I assumed a place at quite a distance - if you mean a place you actually walk to use "gehen".

Seit lange will ich dorthin fahren.

thats a horrible literal translation by a non native german. don't use it unless you want to get laughed at or no one else responds
