YES to both.Special interests have ruined our nation and corrupted those who are suppose to represent us.I do believe the words go "We the People" not "For Business sake".

All lobbyist should be banned from Washington, Yes! As for some of the Senators and proposed term limits.. Let me use an analogy to explain my answer in comparison as for term limits for either of them.

Would you put a teenager with a brand new license in hand, in charge of driving you around in your brand new tricked out ride? Or would you, the experienced driver, rather be the one behind the wheel? The experienced driver knows exactly what to do in cases of emergencies. Where the newer driver has yet to gain that experience. If you put terms limits on Senate Members, then how do they ever gain the experience to steer the country in a direction people would like? Same goes for Congress Members and term limits if you really think about it.

Once you get rid of the Special Interest Groups, and Lobbyists, that's the majority of the problems taken care of. So why punish those who were, and are innocent of not taking the bribes, vacations, and such? Not all of them are doing the country this disgraceful and shameful dealings. So those who would be innocent get caught up in your assumptions that all are corrupt.

Just vote out your corrupted Senators. The ones who are against the demands of the majority of the people in which they serve. Replace them with ones who work for the people, and clean up the Special Interest groups, and Lobbyist perks mess. Situation solved.

I believe in term limits. That way they won't become professional politicians.

People in congress need to go back home and be regular citizens and live under the laws they just made.

Also, special perks should be taken away from congresspeople. They are elected servants not superior beings.

Yes to getting rid of lobbyists as well.
It's nice to have fantasies, isn't it?

there should be term limits for the senate
but the lobbyists (when regulated correctely)
are helpful to congress....
also there always will be special interest groups. Only some groups have an disadvantage (right now) beacuse they don't know how to use use their member's votes to further their cause.

Yes I do, but we will have a little problem with getting the Senators to buy into it, and Hillary has stated that she counts on her lobbyist and she supports very much.

YES for all questions. Special interest groups and big businesses are ruling our country right now! They tell our elected officials (most of them) how to vote on certain issues.

Term limits perhaps, perhaps not really don't care much about it. I would however like them to kick the big businesses and their lobbying interests out of Washington.

I think that we should run them (lobbyists) out of the country and if they are drawing a gov retirement ck or benefits they and are working for another gov they should be treated like traitors.

YES and ummmm... YES

Look at West Virginia for instance. The greater majority of dumb people in this state insist on electing Robert C. Byrd time and time again, yet throughout his ENTIRE tenure as Senator, WV has remained around and at 49th in EVERYTHING from education to family income to state budget. Aside from having almost everything in the state named after him, he has made very little progress whatsoever for us.
