i'm 16 years old and ive always noticed my breasts hurts but i thought thats was just because of hormones or whatever. but then recently i was feeling my left one and i felt a little lump on the side of it next to my underarm. could this be a cyst or am i just freaking out?

At your age it is probably just hormones...however a lump is something that should never be there so just get it checked like that you remove all your fears.
And to put your mind at rest of cancer fears, at your age it is highly improbable, and pain is not normally associated with bc.

Your assumption that the pain is hormonal is probably correct.
Breast cancer is rarely painful.
The lump is of more concern, but we all get lumpy breasts from time to time.
The key is to know what is normal for YOUR breasts!
If you haven't noticed this lump before, it is probably best to get a Dr to check it out and reassure you it is harmless.
It is possible (but unlikely) that it is cancerous, so why take a chance?
