You can tell the cats in the video (the one on the cat tree and the calico at the humane society) REALLY loved it. I expected to see strands of drool coming off them!
We used to call this 'thumpa cat' and two of ours were really into having it done to them. There's practically no pressure used if you do it lightly, it's more like patting your thigh when you're sitting down. Believe me, the cat will let you know if they like it or not.

No that's somewhat no longer ok! I used to bounce my cat's nostril whilst she did something incorrect or her ears, yet i wouldn't in any respect finished-on spank her! and then to fasten him in a depressing closet?!?!?! What the hell? No nutrition or water? Is she tormenting the cat or disciplining him? you should definately call RSPCA or something like that. verify you have info however. the suitable variety of discipline is the bopping or ignoring the cat. once you bop him and say "No!" in a company voice (no longer yelling), overlook approximately him for greater or less an hour. My cat could no longer undergo it when I disregarded her, and could do each and every thing to get my interest. i could finally soften earlier the hour could end, yet she could continually learn and whilst she tries to do something incorrect, I merely look at her crosswise and he or she turns around and leaves the room. Kinda like she's asserting, "No, I WASN'T gonna try this! stop making generalizations and predictions that are no longer actual!!" this is actual rather humorous.

I did not spank my cat today. I have never heard of it - but I checked out the YouTube.
I think it got that cat horney - I think it was trying to get it on with the spanker.
I think it is an S & M video for felines : )

Looks like the cat was enjoying it, but it doesn't look like a lot of hitting. It looks like it was a cat massage by light taps, but to me it looked pretty vigorous and forceful.
Just be careful if the cat had rear problems like bad stomach or kidney stones.

My adult son introduced my cats to this. He said his cat loves it! Well at first I was upset, but he was right. Now they bug him whenever he comes over to do it again and again. Darnedest thing.

Right after she bought me my truck,,,,,I spanked that cat till she was hollowing so loud the people next door called an said they were calling the law......She loved it alright.....Nice truck too........

i spank my big fat weirdo all the time. he loves it as well. i also do that to the sides of my horse's muzzle and he really likes it too.
