It suits him well. HMS will offer him some of the best resources in the business, and the #88 is fitting when you think about how that's a Jr. Motorsports car with the #88 in the Busch Series.
Earnhardt will drive like a man possessed in '08.

I am happy that Jr. has a number that means something to him. 88 was his grandfather's number. :) I am not too keen on him not being red anymore, but that will just take some getting used to I suppose.
As long as Jr is happy and has good equipment and good people around him, the change is for the best.

Number- It's good for the Die-hard fans that have 8 tats so all they have to do is go get another one put beside it.
Sponsor- He is the trying to appeal to the under 21 crowd, if you took a poll of the percentage of fans that are under 21, i bet that it is over 75%, everyone can drink Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and the National Guard will encourage more people to join the armed Forces.
And if he dont win with Hendrick it's his fault

I like them. The more things progress the more excited I am next season. It all is slowly growing on me. Use to bother me when all this first started but seems like all of the changes Jr has made are for the better. When he starts flying the checkered flag I'll like it even more. Getting the 88 was awesome. I just gained a tremendous amount of respect for Robert Yates Racing for making the number change.

Don't really see that it matters as long as he's in a Chevy.
It is still Jr. and that is what matters.
I hope that his new owner will do his most to get him in winners circle and from reading the news conference it sounds like he is doing that already even before Jr. is technically over there.

It looks like a Busch car or a Craftsman Truck paint job. The number design looks like it came from a power point presentation.

i think jeff gordon will be jealous and distracted now that he is not the most popular fish in his pond. i don`t know if jimmy johnson will take it as hard. he is better at hiding his emotions than jeff. classy move to give him no. 88. i don`t think kasey kahne is a good fit for bud and it would be better if jr. could keep that sponsor.
