Here's a video demo of how to use a blow dryer to create volume: http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-blow-dry-your-hair-to-create-volume

Use a microfiber towel to dry your hair. Such towels are superabsorbent & will shorten drying time.

Pantene extra body conditioner (white bottle, purple band) is the best volumizing conditioner I've found.

Put your dry hair up in loose ponytail at the top of your head before you go to sleep. When you release it in the morning, you'll see more lift at the roots.

Other than using volumizing styling products such as mousse, hairspray, and rootlifters you can also opt for a layered haircut.

you can tease, or back-comb, and comb down the top layer so it isn't messy looking. You can also put gel in your hair after you take a shower and blow dry it upside down. After that brush, comb, or use a pic (whatever you do), and hairspray :] instant "va-voom"
