This is about the Nintendo Gamecube and a Portable DVD player.
I have a Nintendo Gamecube and a portable DVD player-axion. I want to play my Gamecube on it. Can someone tell me how. It has an A/V out on it. The player came with a cord that plugs into the A/V out and on the other end has the red, yello, and white things. I plugged in the Gamecube to it and turned it on and the portable DVD player. Heres the real problem-
I made sure there were no discs in the portable DVD player. When I turned on the DVD player and Gamecube the DVD player after loading(reading discs) says no discs, but there is audio from the gamecube. So there is sound but no video of the gamecube.
Can anyone help please. Thank you sooooo much if you can. Also please check out my MASTER CHIEF VS SAMUS question on my profile. Its entertaining.
This is a chance to get 24 free points!!!!!!! Thank you very much!!!! Please just tell me how or what I am doning wrong!!!!! Thankx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From what I understand, you try to connect the video out of the gamecube to what YOU THINK is a video input in the portable DVD player.

First make sure that the yellow port on your portable DVD player is actually an INPUT port and NOT a video OUTPUT port. If it is video out only, then there is nothing you can do. They simply provide it so that you can connect your portable player to a bigger TV.

If you have no clue what it is. Connect it to the video input of a TV. If you can see the DVD menu on the TV, then it is a video output port.

If it is an input port then check the manual of your portable DVD player on how to enable it. Providing the model of your DVD player could probably help all of us.

My portable DVD player has an in/out switch used just for this situation, look for it on the sides of the player.
