See if youer Diocese sponsors a Nun Run. Seriously- that's what we call them! The Diocese of Toledo, OH has one or two a year.
It's kind of like Rush Week for sororities...you visit different orders and see which ones feel right to you. They introduce you to their spirituality and their way of life.
You decide where you seem to fit, and can then visit another time for more in-depth info.
There are several steps- you don't just walk in and become a nun.
You start as a novice, for a minimum of one year. You live the life as though you were a nun, but you may leave at any time- or be asked to leave at any time.
After that, you take temporary vows and become a postulant. The actual taking of vows makes thing a little more difficult- because you are OBLIGATED to abide by them.
Eventually, final, permanent vows are taken.

I'm not sure who you should talk to, but from knowing some Benedictine nuns I can tell you that you probably won't be accepted as a novice even until you have a college degree of some kind. They don't want anyone coming in too young who may later regret the decision. They want women who have some life experience and have made this choice as mature adults.

Are you aware there is more than one kind of sister? A nun takes solemn vows and goes to a cloister. A religious sister takes simple vows and may be out in the world. Still within her community of other sisters. There are also hermit sisters who live alone. They are under a bishop or archbishop. But this is not a choice one makes because one does not feel one can marry. This is not a choice one makes to hide from the world. Or because of some romantic notion of what nuns and sisters are. This is a choice one makes because one is called to it. More than one man's heart has been changed by a loving wife. One of my favorite saints, Saint Pio, told his beloved friend to go ahead and marry an Atheist. This man ended up being instrumental in the building of his hospital for the poor. Do not despair. All of us have sins to face. We can hope, at best for God's mercy. Even if you were to marry him, and have Hindu children, I would recommend you continue to attend mass. As often as possible. There are many spiritual benefits gained simply by attending. Even if one's soul is not in a state of grace where one can take communion. God bless you in what ever choice you make.

Close your mind to true Spiritual understanding.
The concept of nuns is not supported in Scripture. You will be going contrary to the will of God as revealed in Scripture.
The church collective is the bride of Christ, and not just nuns.
