Because you need 2 to stick in your ears when your husband yells at you while he's trying to get the barbecue up and running.

So you have two extra dogs to feed to your dog. Either that or it's a conspiracy by the hotdog and bun companies to make us buy an extra pack of 10 buns 8 of which were not going to use.

purely purchase 5 packs of canines, and four packs of buns. Then invite 39 associates over and you'd be fantastic. yet fairly, I desire I had a better answer for you, i've got been thinking this query myself for a while.

Standard hot dogs have always been 10 to the pound. Jumbo hot dogs are 8 to the pound.

Bakers don't like tens. They prefer dozens, or multiples of three and four, notably four, six, eight, and twelve. They are easier to package.

It's for people like me. I use hotdogs for recipes other than eating inside of a bun. You can cut them up and put them in casseroles, for instance.

i think it is because. when a person is cooking hot dogs. They always like to grab one and eat one cold. Then at least one more person comes and wants a cold one...

So this way... everything is equal.

Same reason we drive on parkways and park on driveways and a package sent by a ship is called cargo and sent by land a shipment... it's a crazy mixed up world!
