Furthermore, if god is omnipotent, he knows before hand you're going to hell. So he creates you even though he knows you will suffer forever. He seems like an *** to me.

Where would an 8 year old child see something like that? Of course you take the gun away from him, he shouldn't even have it in the first place. Obviously the poor kid is going through a rough spot. If you are the parent, you should be more responsible and hide your guns where your children can't get them. If you just witnessed this or are just curious, take the gun away. Save the boy's young life, he has so much more to live. (If he/she is going through a rough spot, people do crazy things, no matter what age. Help the kid out. Even the tiniest thing can improve their life).

I've thought of questions similar to this before, but yours is really interesting. I've never thought of it your way. Thanks for asking it. It's probably one of the only few good questions that will pop up all day.
Well, of course, I think any sane person would take away the gun. However, in the instance that it's between God and His people, I don't know if God is wrong to let the child kill himself. That's probably the most sadistic image I've ever thought of God, but I don't think that's how the image really is. Why? Well, why is the kid there in the first place? Is it so that God can babysit him? No, God gave parents the role of babysitting, so if this were to ever happen, I think it's the parent's burden.
But once again, why is the kid there in the first place? It's the same reason we're all here. God created us so that He could have someone in His own image to love, and hopefully, we'd love Him back and find fellowship in Him. It's not that He's necessarily holding our hand, but if you want, you can experience God on a level of that depth in heaven. However, we're not here on earth to hold God's hand, but to simply find God and decide if we want to follow Him. So it's not really a question of God's morality, but it's actually a question of our morality and willingness to choose God. In the case of the 8 year old (or metaphorically any person who's naive to the significance of their actions), I don't think he's found God yet, so I don't know what would happen to him in the afterlife. But I trust that God will be just in His judgments. In this I have faith.

They actually showed this scene in a "Quentin Tarentino" film which I witnessed, and walked out on. People in the theater thought it was quite funny when the mother said "I thought I told you not to play with guns", after the 8 year old child had blown half of his head off, and was dead. My question to you is "How could Christ Not come when the world has been reduced to this?"
Do you see that the nations of the world are fighting over arctic ocean drilling rights, now that much of the poles have melted? Do you see that the "fabled" Northwest passage has opened up due to the receding polar caps?
Do you see the sickness in the presidency?, and the evil? Do you see the Iraq war, where the greatest Genocide of the modern age is occurring between the Sunnis and Shia? Do you see the vanity which drowns the earth?
So my question to you is: How could Christ NOT come back today, in our time, and even already be here?

This is just about the worst question I've read for someone trying to disprove free will. Who wouldn't take a gun away from a CHILD who isn't even accountable for his own actions yet? Who wouldn't take a gun away from anyone, if they could?
This is just a stupid question. Try again!

A child is not old enough to discern what death is. Most teens have no clue how eternal death is. When a person kills them self ,they are not of a sound mind.
God has given us our free will. Life or death, your choose. You make the decision to pick Jesus or deny Him. God has given you two roads to follow ,pick the one you will travel. God in His great mercy ,has given you many chances to get on the right road. You choose.
LIFE OR DEATH. <><

For one thing mister unbeliever and destined for hell, a child is innocent in the eyes of the Lord. So if an eight year old would die, because he is ignorant of the Word of God, he would go to be with God.
As for your question to whether I would take the gun from him, there is about as much a chance I would take it from him as there is of me calling your question silly.
Your question is silly. Grow up.

That a hard question... if you don't have moral or common sense. Look, each person has his/her idea of whats good and whats bad. I think most people would stop the kid, reason being that he would be doing something bad. Children(and typically everyone else) may have 'Free Will' but that doesn't stop us from stopping and/or correcting them.

I would stop the 8 yr old dumb-***.
but I think it's depending on the situation of why he put it to his head in the first place. Was it for fun? Or maybe because of abuse?
