Just because someone becomes an ordained priest does not mean they are no longer sinners. We are all sinners till the day we die, we just need to keep asking for forgiveness for our sins and try harder to resist temptation.

It automatically makes you a conduit and vessel for God to operate through. However, a Priest is still a man, still must go to confession and can still sin. This is what Catholics believe.
