in general how many people, because i have looked for it and it gives me specific to one cancer, i want to know the total amount

I have survived Prostate cancer, and my question would be how many survive cancer? The answers would give more hope to those who have this disease. I hope to live, not wanting to know how many have died.

There are about 21 million people in Australia.
About 39,000 die of cancer each year.
There are about 6605 million people on the planet.
So about 12 million people world wide die of cancer each year.
