You could just write "NO BASURA" which means "not garbage." It's shorter...
Depending on where your cleaning lady is from, the verb for garbage is different... Mexicans use "tirar" and South Americans use "votar," so I would just write that's it's not trash so that you're sure she'll understand.

Y lo tiró por las escaleras. He / She threw = El / Ella tiró Pronounced /Tea/ (like the drink) and /Ro/ All together = /Tea-Ro/ = Tiró Note: The person that threw is in the verb and the person thrown is the "lo" part
