I believe they do, because by the time of the next litter the others will be weaned.

Cats can come into heat when they are nursing a litter...as early as two weeks after giving birth. That is why the cat population is so out of control!!!!
You can get her spayed NOW and she can still produce milk for this litter.
It is not good for her to be a constant kitten machine. Her health will suffer and then the health of the kittens will also.

well heres a warning: my grandma used to have a dalmation that had a litter of about 13 puppies, and while we were milking the other puppies, she got pregnant again... as soon as we got rid of the last one from first litter, we had a new litter of 17 to deal with >.<. do yourself a favor and get kitty fixed...

Yes, it's certainly possible so keep her indoors until you have her spayed.
