I'm on the newspaper for my school, and we have to come up with a few ideas for what to put in it. I still need about five more - I already have a crossword puzzle, sudoku, a word search, and horoscopes.

1. "Get to know your Teacher" (interview a different teacher for each article)
2. School lunch menu
3. Sports events and highlights of the game
4. Upcoming events for your school
5. do a current events question and get responses from several different kids &/or teachers.

The obvious, articles. Then political cartoons, two-cents (ask students for their opinion & post w/ their picture), music reviews, book reviews, restaurant reviews, Student spotlights, Band Spotlights...
