this is a 35 year old single male. Dr told him would not operate without $10 thousand up front. He is a working american but not enough pay to pay this kind of medical bills. There should be some kind of help. When doctors help with medical expenses for someone from another country. How do they get help??

go to your local human services office, or even the local health department, they should be able to give you information..... if these are no help, see about holding fundraisers, benifits, and other activities to raise money!!

The city hospital, where he lives, should be able to assist him with how to receive free medical treatment.
The services are usually free.

The Human Services Welfare Department may also be able to assist him.

Both of you should go to the hospital and find out the procedure he needs to follow to get medical care for him.

yes..there SHOULD be help. but unfortunatly there is not. The majority of the population has no insurance and no way to get any medical help. Its bad.
