Its half way down my forearm (in line with thumb) under the skin and feels like a bruise although i havent bruised the area.It feels like its around a vein and covers about the width of a finger.

Sounds like a simple muscle strain, either from moving your wrist in a particular way too often, too quickly or whilst holding something too heavy. Simply resting it for a day or two will solve the problem.

If it doesn't then the obvious next step would be to consult a GP. It feels like a waste of time going in with something small but if the pain is persisting then (and your doctor WILL agree with this) it's far better to play it safe than to risk having something dangerous run unchecked.

It could be carpal tunnelling if its around a vein. f it feels like its pulling a bit too. Its just when the blood going through your veins is pushing a bit hard and it can be really uncomfortable. Not dangerous though.

Another problem that could be causing this is a sister condition to carpal tunnel syndrome. It's called cubital tunnel syndrome. I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.

Its probably a BRUISE, or your soar man, just because you cant see it doesnt mean its not there

when you were sleeping you took a needle and injected yourself with a fluid that makes your muscles sore. that's the only answer.
