For the Body of Christ and the Blood of Christ. I know those two are the most holiest moments of the Catholic Mass and that no one but the priest (s) should be on the very altar celebrating such sacredness.

There is this cantor that goes up rudely to the side of the altar to try to sing his verses just as the priest is holding up the Holy Bread and Wine.

For the rubrics of Holy Mass is this a sacrilige for someone else to be up on the altar on this special moment? Where can I find more info on this?

This cantor is very rude in general to all people and very confrontational and does everything his way with no respect for anyone or anything, so I wouldn't approach him about it.

When Jesus said that you must eat my body and drink my blood many were shocked and walked away from Him and He said to the Apostles,` Will you leave Me also? and Peter replied ` Lord where can we go? You alone have the words of eternal life`
Therefore what CJ has said is just anti-Catholic and makes no sense, if Christ spoke in metaphor why would He risk losing followers?
Your Cantor should not interupt the Priest at this sacred time and the blame has to be on the Priest for allowing this to happen, I would write to the Bishop if this practice did not cease.
Besides after the Priest has declared that this is My body/this is My blood etc, there should be nothing sung until the Priest say`s,`Let us proclaim the mystery of faith``and the Cantor is entitled to lead this.

i'm surprised the priest has not said anything to him. our altar servers are even off to the side n the lower step ringing the bells. the canotr is no where to be found. IMO there should be no movement around the altar by anyone other then a priest, deacon, or such during that time.

The fact that it says "do this in rememberance of me" should make it obvious that the Lord's table is symbolic, and not a cannibalistic enterprise where the Lord is recrucified every week. Jesus died once, rose from the dead, and dies no more, says the Bible.
