Buying and Selling has become so corrupt nowadays, I can see how the Bible has linked the number of the beast to it.

I agree mostly with the first reply. Each person will receive a mark and without that mark, they can not buy or sell. This doesn't necessarily mean an implanted chip. It could mean a card (Remember the Bible says - it will be in either their forehead "memory" or in their right hand - which is the most commonly used hand)
There will come a time when cold hard cash will be obsolete.

Remember the accounts in Revelation have already taken place and did not apply to us. When studying the book of Revelation remember the important facts. It was written to the 7 churches of Asia, of things that were to shortly take place, written in signs and symbols for their comprehensionhttp://www.apologeticspress.org/articles/1819 This is important when understanding the language and the time period that his occurred.
It's quite the in depth study but more information can be found at http://www.preteristarchive.com/ Just remember the three basic things to this book:
1) Written to the 7 churches in Asia
2) In Signs and Symbols
3) About things that will shortly come
Remember - If it applied to us, why would those 7 churches care about an event that would take well past their life time.

I don't know where it is in the bible but religious folks use it in connection with the proposed identity chips we're supposedly going to be offered in the next couple of years. Alarmists say it's the sign of satan if you get it, but besides it not being a sign of anything, the bible says specifically that the mark of satan will be on the right hand or the forehead.....only.......those crazy alarmists.

It could mean there will be a microchip implanted in us, and we cannot buy products/goods, enter our own homes, be identified by the law enforcement or gvt. without out it.

This chip is the mark of the beast.
If you refuse to get the chip you are a follower of Christ and will most likely have to suffer and be put in a camp, but if you accept it has radio activity that could control you because of the chip. think about it frequency.....

they're saying that you have to earn everything that you get in the new world. i think it's in revelation.
