Are you a SAHM or WAHM and would like to have some more communication with other people? I know that two years ago when I became a SAHM I was starting to talk less and less to the outside world. Then I found this wonderful group called Anythingmom through Yahoo!! It is a very active group of moms who talk about every issue that comes our way!

If you go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AnythingMom/ and look at our message history at the bottom of the page you will see for your self how much we love to chat and share opinions.

If this seems like a group you would like to get active in please stop reading this and go to the group page and sign up. Hope to see you soon!

I've been both a working mom and a SAHM. I'm currently a SAHM and have been for over a year. Thanks for the group invite. I'll check it out.

you might also check out MeetUps.com which can be even better if you are in a city area. Meetup with other people in the same position who desperately need a chance to get out and meet with real people once in awhile.

I feel disappointed that SAHD (stay at home dads) is so often left out but I do understand why mixing them is usually not a good idea.

Thanks, I will check it out.
Just wanted to add - I know how you feel when you say you feel like your talking less to the outside world. If you are looking for some things to do in your area - Check out your local library and find out what is going on for play groups, music/story times. Also call you counties Partnership for children, children's resource center or Family infant preschool program (FIPP) they have playgroups, field trips, etc... Also MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) meet at local churches. The children go to childcare while the moms meet and eat!
