plus your computer was your prized posession, you didnt own alot of posessions, you were on welfare for the time being, couldnt afford much. plus you had a psychological disorder that you'd had for a while (BPD) which meant you didnt have many friends..
so your computer was your main posession and your main life line to others and the world..
so if it broke and you lost alot of important information to, how would you handle this?
how would you survive?
have you ever been in tough circumstances like this?

You have to realize that there are only a few things you can control and lots of things you cannot control.

If you have no control over something, you HAVE to let it go. Worrying or being upset won't help the situation you have.

All you can do is pick up and move on from here.

Crappy things happen. But, that doesn't mean you let them get to you. I've been in your situation with the computer, and I know it sucks. But, you can't do anything to take it back.

Good luck and stay strong!

You aren't alone in this problem, and it has nothing to do with your BPD, believe me..this happens to the biggest, brightest people all over, and these kinds of things don't discriminate...the best thing you can do, is have a back up file, and also, make sure you are very careful not to open unknown emails,..even messenger if you don't know the person...you're computer should never be our main life line to the world...this is something for now, but not for a way of life, sadly..how did our forefathers survive? I have found that when my computer crashes,...I start becoming productive, and get things done, sad to say..I miss the stuff, but don't realize how much I have REALLY missed, when it goes down...I love my computer, but it can overtake your life, if you aren't careful

Usually this only happens once to someone.
People decide to start backing up their files so this will never happen again. You will have to start out fresh with the new computer. Take proper care of your computer and you will be able to enjoy it for a long time. Be sure to have anti virus and anti spyware installed on the computer. I hope it will not take too long to get things up and going again. Good Luck
