I agree. I also believe we should teach them well and let them lead the way. We should also show them all the beauty they possess inside, plus give them a sense of pride to make it easier.
And we should let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be.

Agree: In a suitable enviroment where other good leaders and educators play an extremely good role without any thing disturbing this scenario. Perfect harmony of good morals and ideas interacting with eachother to form a perfect youth witout dismay.
Dissagree: The above example is impossible. outside factors continualy influence our children so the norm is basically brain washed to follow poor examples on T.V etc. The conclusion is then that children are sort of narrow minded or in plain english, stupid to realise that good morals are actully cool to sustain future development in any circumstance. The minority do realize this and also realize not to breed like animals and go around having sex like starved vultures and ofcourse in the process make babies that are also going to sustain such a poor mindset in life. The future is getting less and the stupidity even more.
Yes, children are our future, but not with the examples of today!

Sound like you and Whitney certainly would be in agreement anyway. Reality says that you're both right however. Future generations are going to be empowered by today's youth and the changes that we will probably miss out on are going to be somewhat over the top possibly. But like everything else in life it is circular and who knows maybe today's generation when they gain the power will return to a more morale and just society. Or perhaps they'll be living in some Utopian society and free love and free sex will once again rule t\he planets and love will steer the stars.

Children are definitely the future of the world. We have to teach them what they need to be adults, with education and by experience. They learn from what they see so we need to be careful what we do. We must also teach them about compassion for others and the need to do whats morally and ethically right.

Of course they are our future. You're not gonna live forever, I'm not gonna live forever because no one does. That's why the future lies in the hands of the younger generations and that is also why we as adults and role models need to be setting the right example for those younger than us.

Well seeing as the government is ran by crooked people who allow the grading curve to lower year by year our "future" seems very gloomy. Corporations have it pumped in teenagers heads that not caring is cool just BUY BUY BUY thats all they need to know. So yes/no is the answer they are the future but not a good future.

Well of course they are........that's how the world goes round, isn't it?
And parents, most, they do all they can to instill good values and pride in each and every child.
BUT then you also find parents who go overboard and become 2 faced to others who they don't feel their standards live up to theirs. Now, wouldn't our life be good if we didn't have those kind?? :-)
