Romaji is basically the japanese pronunciation of a word in roman letters.

I've been seeing the word "totsuzen" around lately, associated with the word "sudden". Does anyone know what totsuzen means?

Thanks!

It sounds somewhat similar to the Cantonese words for "sudden" or "suddenly" somewhat, so I can be sure that the Kanji is the same as the Chinese characters for "sudden" or "suddenly". Therefore: totsuzen = "sudden" or "suddenly". It is totally a different pronunciation in Mandarin, "tu ran"

But then again that's only one in a million other words also romanized "totsuzen", which would have totally other meanings than what you mentioned.
