She's been stealing my stuff for months now and lies when I ask her about it, and recently I've been finding my stuff in her room. We're already breaking our lease and moving b/c this situation has made things so awkward, but I want my stuff back and don't know any other way to go about getting it. It's nothing really valuable (money-wise) but she's taking MY stuff and I'm not going to let her walk all over me. So I'm thinking about taking something of her's, the when she asks me about it, tell her that I sure do have it and would be happy to return it to her as soon as she gives me my **** back. (Or would it be better to deny it like she's been doing, but make it obvious that I'm lying?) I doubt she'd get the police involved since she knows I've busted her stealing from me. What do you guys think?

In the past, I've felt bad about looking thru her room for my stuff, but recently, I decided to do a quick skim and found something in the first place I checked! And of course I've taken back the stuff that I've found that belongs to me, and I've also arranged for the landlord to put a lock on my door (he's just moving too slowly) This girl was a random roommate arrangement, so it's not like she was my friend. This is the most childish idea I've had in a long time, but 2 can play this game and if she thinks it's ok to steal from me, she needs to see what it feels like and not just get away with it. I would never take something of her's and pawn it or anything, just hold it until she returns what she has stolen from me.

Just dropped in and read a bunch of the answers you recieved on your question. I cannot believe how many people told you not to stoop to her level. I also cannot believe how many brought up the question of whether or not it would be moral or ethical to take either your things back or some of hers as leverage. Have we all become so p.c., so blindly dependent on the dubious protection of government and police? Did all of you forget who the theif in this little discours is???? Private property is private property, if it is yours, defend it, get it back. Stand up for yourself, all of you. The police are there for when we cannot resolve things for ourselves. We would not have so much of this kind of stupid **** happening if everyone would just stand up and not take criminal behaviour such as your roomate is exhibiting. She has obviously done this type of thing before and gotten away with it or she would not be so blatent about it. Personally I would not take anything that belongs to her, just take back my stuff, if she has ruined, lost or gotten rid of any that you know she has taken you will have to deal with that some other way. I say again......stand up....assert yourself, most people will do the right thing when confronted in this manner. The ones that don't are the ones you contact the police on.

Our you the type of person who's eager to back stab someone after they stab you? Obviously, you're on the verge, but I'd step back and realize she stole it for a reason. If she's a no-good two-timing you-know-what, then your stuck in an awkward position that should require LOGIC first, then applied action. Just because she stole your things doesn't justify (ethically) you stealing her things. And if it's nothing valuable, why bother grieving over it? She's a person who steals- not you. Remember this and your problem should solve itself.

If you have found your stuff in her room already, then I would probably go into her room and upheave everything in it until I found ALL of my things. Although it is stooping to her level in a way, if you are trying to get a point across, this will do the trick.

the moral thing to do would be to not stoop to her level and try to reason with her to just give you your stuff back
but she seems like the type of person that is trying to walk all over you so yea i would take some of her stuff and play the game she's playing until she confesses and gives you your sh** back

2 wrongs dont make a right just tell her that you have found your stuff in her room and you would like the rest of your stuff back and tell her that you are really disapointed in her for doing this to you.tell her also that you are going to contact authorities if she doesnt return it.maybe it will get her thinking and return it,until then Id get my stuff out of there and dont leave her alone to get anything else.

Their bellies do in fact turn pinkish in colour before a shed. additionally, look at his eyes and in the event that they are creamy coloured (or milky) then it fairly is a real sign of a shed. Snakes can get inactive via shed, meaning that they are going to normally stay of their cover packing containers (in case you have one) until the floor starts to peel. it fairly is a good option to have something collectively with a rock (not a heated rock) that the snake can rub against to help the laying off technique. it fairly is a good option to not try to hold the snake until after the laying off technique is finished, via undeniable fact that the snake would strike you. Can't you just go in her room and take your stuff back? Can you put a lock on your bedroom door to keep her out?

If you kno shes taking your **** take it back!!!
While shes in her room chillin, walk in there and grab your **** and maybe hers and walk out....When she walks up to you to tell you something shove everything back to her face and tell her to deal w/ it!
Its not very nice but its the nices thing I could think of...if not just kick her @ss and punch the sh*t out of her!!
That might clear things up LOL

Go to a store that sells "spy equipment," you can buy a small camera, to put in her room, where you can get "evidence," on her stealing.
Look in the Yellow pages for Spy Equipment.
