okay, so no offense first of all, but from what I know of, Native America cuisine is practically extinct. It's not like there are that many easily available Native American recipes. The only few recipes I know of are Fry Bread, Corn Bread, Bannock and Pemmican. You might wanna do some research about them, try wikipedia. I think Bannock sounds pretty tasty from I know of. If Native American recipes for your project include Mesoamerican recipes then you'll have a wider variety of recipes to choose from. You know like, chili, tacos, burritoes, enchilladas. Those are so well-known. Anyway hope you make the most tasty choice for your project. All the best.

You could make some Fry Bread. It is definitely Native American. If you go to Google.com and type in Fry Bread, the third item down says Fry Bread Recipes and it is broken down on that site by the particular Native American tribe. It's very easy to make and all you need to cook it is a skillet with some oil.

The first time I had it we went to the History Museum in Calgary where we had it.

My grandmother was raised on a Pueblo Indian Reservation.
I have her cookbooks.

There is a lot of nice recipes and are all legit Pueblo Indian food that they prepared.

I'll give you one:

Pinon Soup:
1 pound pinon nuts (same as Pignolia nuts, or Pine nuts)

1 tsp dried mint
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 quart milk
1 cup water
2 cups chicken broth

Combine all and cook about 1/2 hour. Mash to make soft.
