My kids currently do to the upper Dublin school district. My job gave me a new position where I will be moving and the new school district will be the Pittston area school district. How can I find information about this school online? I want to see how they compare to the schools in the state. The schools are in the state of Pennsylvania. I want to know how the schools do on tests, income of the families there. How many kids get free lunches at the school? How can I find out this information and more about the schools and the area?

I agree with those suggestions above but also check out www.ratemyteacher.com and select uk .. Each school has reviews on all of their teachers .. which I found quite useful. My only regret is that I did not find it before I chose a school.

Good luck ..

It would have helped if you indicated the type of school you were interested in: elementary? middle? high? special needs? vocational? tech? advanced placement? magnet? charter? public? private? sectarian? etc.

Regardless, try the links, below (note that some of the info is outdated, but should be enough to give you a starting point).
