my mother was sexually abused by her father when she was young... and she has 3 girls.... she told herself that her children will never be left alone with him... i didn't know this until recently... and now that i think back we were never around him unsupervised by another "female" adult..... i am now 23... i think their mother should be taking a stronger stand in this.... talk to her and see whats going on in her head..

If you don't say anything, you are part of the problem. Go to the police and do not accuse... talk to an officer and ask him what needs to be done to help a neghbor or friend of the family and this is the situation. You are asking him for advice. You have to be really close to the situation to see this is happening and why is the childrens mother putting her children into this situation? If you know exact times this is happening, call 911 and have them come to the house. they are well trained at how to talk to children to get what they need. You do not have to tell anyone you are the one that called. the grampa has had a serious problem and allowing him to continue is not helping anyone in this situation whatsoever. seems you are concerned, so step up help these girls

So you are saying the grandfather raped the 2 and 3 year old's mother when she was eight?
If this is the case, the mother of the 2 & 3 year old needs to have her head examined.
I don't know what else to say

you would need proof of this and if all you have is a story that someone told you then it is pretty hard to prove. however...if you made an annonymous complaint to child protective services perhaps the children could be tested to see if they have been molested. i wish someone had had enough guts to step up when i was a little girl.

Yes, if you know for sure that the rape occurred than someone needs to have the brains and courage to protect those little girls.
