I am a Christian. I like a drink and I like food going without a drink is not a problem because I drink very little. But food I eat when i am bored I eat when I'm worried I eat when I'm actually hungry. And I am trying to lose weight. I for one do not know where being well fed and enjoying food ends and gluttony begins, but I do know when alcohol is abused it is obvious.
I have never heard of a man/woman destroying his family by eating too much, but I know only to well what can happen to a family when a mother or father regularly drinks to often and too much

Ignorance of the new covenant I guess. They are trying to say to God "Hey God look at me, aren't I a good Christian because I don't drink" but as the bible says....these works are filthy rags...we only rely on what Jesus did at the cross.

What has overeating or boozing got to do with Chritianity or any other religion for that matter.. They are health issues, not religious. Why classify them as sins like murder or adultery.

Look at your name. Are you one of these gluttons?
Sounds like it to me.

Lard = fat
So do lumps.

The person who posted before I did said it well.
EVERYONE has something. I believe we all have issues.
I do not fixate on alcohol or anything else.
Drink to your heart's content. Just don't drive after you do it.
