filtering vodka will improve it slightly, but it is still not as good as the branded stuff . . . mythbusters did a segment on this

I have heard that a charcoal filter is what differentiates cheap vodka from good vodka, but I have not tried it. You won't harm the vodka by trying it, but I wouldn't use that Brita for water anymore!

Maybe a small bottle of good stuff to do a blind taste test...might be a fun thing for a party. Besides, what are friends for if not to experiment on?

oh i seen this on myth busters they ran vodka through a purifier and it was suppose to make it a better quality they did this like 10-30 times and it made it a little bit better but not enough to make a big difference

you get cheap liquor that has been through a filter...get my drift. nothing good happens. now, if you take listerine mouthwash and filter it through 5 pieces of white bread you get a drink that will knock your socks off!!

it would just run right through..
if you goal was to make it more pure..
then you would have to redistill it ...
