So I quit smoking this monday! :) I haven't had any sort of withdrawals or anything along those lines. Do you think that the hormone changes have something to do with that?

I'm 8 weeks pregnant today and am just happy that it's been easy quitting.

quitting smoking is different for each person, and withdrawls or cravings are dependant on how long you smoked. I smoked for 2 years and quit cold turkey with no cravings and it was easy. My father quit cold turkey as well with no issues and it was easy for him too. It is most likely how your body reacts to nicotine.

Its probably the being pregnant that helped you quit I know it did me, I was about 7-8 weeks when I quit my two pack a day habit, my husband is trying and having a really really rough time not smoking. But me I just cut down then quit and haven't had any cravings, the smell makes me ill so that helps :)

Congrats on quitting :)

You have the best reason ever for quitting!!! Withdrawal symptoms are both physical and psychological. You are so happy and proud of yourself that you are not having any psychological withdrawal symptoms!! Good job and good luck!!

Now, don"t ever go back to smoking after the baby comes!!! You will be a better mom and live longer for her!
