It should be the opposite. Adolescents should be becoming more independent so they can be better prepared for living their lives as adults.

A.TRUE - Adolescence are those years, very important, in one's development, both mentally and physically. You begin to understand things and form your opinion on it. Also you wouldn't want to go out with your parents but with friends. That makes you feel free and decide for yourself and not others for you.
