We must first rephrase the question...

In the case that a woodchuck had the capacity of chucking wood, how much wood could the woodchuck in question chuck?

We must then attempt to calculate the mean chucking speed of a woodchuck to know the average butt chords of wood the woodchuck could chuck... and we would also have to know the motives of woodchuck woodchucking...

Bear in mind that today we also have wireless woodchucking states, such as New York, Kansas, Iowa, Ohio, and Washington where we can access wood chucking information at the click of a mouse...

And with the new FDA approved methods of mass woodchucking - the possibilities are endless... as the rapid growing industry expands and goes multinational...

We have corporate branches in Europe, china, and the Middle East, where woodchucking has found an even more profitable market...

Whereas in more primitive third world chucking countries, woodchucks have the tendency to chuck less wood... as the woodchucking economy is not favorable to the chucking of wood...

The answer is still undetermined...

We would have to calculate the mean woodchuking speed of all the woodchuck woodchuking community...

My husband grew up in Punxsutawney, the home of Ground Hog's Day! Ironically enough the stump where the woodchuck comes out of was cut down from my in-law's back yard and they donated it to the town. "Punxsutawney Phil" lives in an enclosure in the Punxsy Library for the rest of the year with his wife Phillis. (no joke!) haha!

PS.... if a woodchuck could chuck wood... I think we'd have to start planting a lot of trees because there are TONS of woodchucks!
