I'm 49, and a co-worker assumed that I was too old to have a son the age of my nephew (he's 22); when I laughed and told her that I could easily have a kid of 29, her jaw dropped.
Then I had a shock:
She thought I was younger than she. She's 33.
No, really, I don't believe I look QUITE that young, but it was a nice compliment !

I think you are wanting compliments about appearance but the best one I've received lately is about my personality. One of my friends just told me that I am the only person she knows who doesn't care one bit about what people think of me. That I will do what I want to do, end of story. What a nice thing to hear!

Are you alking about compliments on apperance?
If so i have heard alot
(1) when i smile everyone that is next to me or around me(male) tells me that i have a beautiful smile and i know that its a fact because i noticed that even before i was complimented.:-)
(2) The way i walk is very contagious everyone i turn heads when i walk down the road (both male and female) Men say that they like my sexy walk... i know that is also true because i am practicing my steps to become a model and i know that the way i walk is sexy .
(3) my friend told me that i am very funny and i make him laugh . i would say that is a compliment . i know this is true because i have a gigantic sense of humor .

Well, he also complimented me because we were talking about cold-stone ice cream, and I was talking about this cookie-dough, vanilla, fudge, and gummy bear ice cream I had there yesterday...he said " wow, that's..." and I said "lol...I know: a LOT of calories", and he was like "no, that's not what I meant, you're thin enough as it is...and I said "Oh, no! I'm not offended, I really don't care about what I eat, as long as I'm happy!" and he was like "That's a great way to look at it" and sorta stared at me for a sec...
