I have had 3 pregnancies, 2 boys and one unknown (we lost the baby before we knew the gender)
My first boy baby I was 25, and my libido was sky high!!! Best sex of my life.
Second (the lost baby) I was 28, my libido was pretty normal, occasional bouts of randiness, lol.
Third (another boy, currently 37 weeks) I am 30, and I have no drive. Maybe every few weeks or so. This has been a very difficult pregnancy, and I know that alot of it is psycological and linked to the loss of the last baby. But I am older, and I have a 5 yr old who I chase all day, which has an effect on my libido anyway.

When I was pregnant w/ my son, I had a sex drive higher than most men. I was 100% convinced that it was all of that testosterone in my body and, still, joke about it to this day. I won't go into detail but it was CRAZY.
I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant w/ #2 and will find out what I'm having on Monday. My sex drive has not changed one way or the other, it is average, just like it was pre-pregnancy. I'm thinking it's a girl.

With both of my pregnancy's my libido was crazy! I was requesting my husband's attention daily...lol. Maybe that is why he is so eager to have a third? I have been pregnant with a boy and a girl so gender had no effect with me regarding libido. I was 24 during the first pregnancy and I was 25 the second time around. Good Luck with your book :)

My libido was very affected, and by "very" I mean I didn't want that thing near me LOL, I had no sex desire at all, I almost lost it completely but of course I was smart enough to not say "no" everytime, I still had - have- a marriage to care about and sexuality is a very important part of it. I would have had no problems going without sex the whole 9 months, it was very odd. I had a baby girl.

To start with my sex drive is really high regardless, my husband actually complains about how often i want it! My sex drive was the same with my first, and he is a boy. With my second, My sex drive was in overdrive!! And she is a girl. I really dont know if that is scientific or not, but there ya go! Wow. Also I really liked sex during my pregnancies, it was awesome! I think the pressure that the baby was creating plus the "pressure" my husband was creating just got me going.

I really didn't feel much like it during pregnancy. I'd do it just because my poor husband seemed desperate for it. But as for me I could have gone without it the entire pregnancy...Both my pregnancies were that way. Also because I had cramps at the beginning my doctor adviced us not to do it for the first trimester. After that I just felt big and uncomfortable so, I didn't want to...
