LONDON, March 19 - Only weeks after it introduced Dasani bottled water into Britain, the Coca-Cola Company ordered a recall of some 500,000 bottles on Friday after finding excess levels of bromate. The chemical, with long-term exposure, has been linked to a higher risk of cancer.

Dasani does have a very small amount of sodium in it, but to me it makes it taste better. It is possible that the sodium is dehydrating you and also making you want to drink more. I don't know anything about any scare in Britain, but it sounds like you may need to switch water.

don't buy filtered tap water. look for water with labels that say fresh spring water. not purified drinking water with enhancing minerals.
