BINGO!!!

The protestant "apple" fell off of the Catholic tree on the "hill" side, and it rolled right back to the tree.

If you're going to be different, then be different. The similarities are multitude to those who honestly look.

No. The reformers broke away because the RCC had gotten away from the Scriptural teachings in many ways. The main problem was Christ's death being totally sufficient for the forgiveness of all the believers sins. The reformers believed what the Bible said, which would be yes, the RCC had gotten into adding things we need to do to be forgiven or justified. The Reformation was simply a desire of the reformers to move Christianity back to its Biblical roots, and away from human tradition and man made rules and doctrine.

Gal 1:6 I wonder that you are so quickly turning back from the One having called you by the grace of Christ to another gospel,
Gal 1:7 which is not another; only there are some troubling you, even determined to pervert the gospel of Christ.
Gal 1:8 But even if we, or an angel out of Heaven, should preach a gospel to you beside the gospel we preached to you, let him be accursed.
Gal 1:9 As we have said before, and now I say again, If anyone preaches a gospel beside what you received, let him be accursed.

Catholics do not have a false gospel that I am aware of. Its been considered the main source of the word of God for over 2000 yrs and for the Protestants since the reformation so it is kind of hypocrtical to pick up any bible but say that Catholics have false gospels or gospel or their bible is wrong. That is all in personal interpretation of the readings which is why there is over 33,000 protestant denominations in the world.

In fact around 400 A.D. was when the books of the bible were deliberated and decided as to what was allowed and what wasn't. Jesus taught from the Jewish bible and the Apostles after his death taught by oral tradition and a letter now known as a book in our now bible. They didn't have a whole array of letters back then. You would need to study about the Council of Trent and also look deeper into the Synod. There are two Synods which has a huge bearing where the translation of your bible comes from. The Catholic one I believe is the Greek but not 100% sure as I have my information loaned out to a friend.
But it is just common sense that the Catholic church is where protestants got theirs from. In fact, prior to the time of the Reformation, in the 1500's there were already many language translations out in print. The protestant bible "is" the edited version. The Protestant reformers Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli and John Calvin were more Catholic especially in their beliefs and practices even as reformers than protestants today. There were several reasons for the split but it wasn't over the bible. It was over indulgences and forced marriages due to teen pregnancies and the fact that priests weren't allowed to marry, the reformers thought they could do things better but faced problems dealing with the premarital issues. Not even Jesus himself claimed his church would be without problems. But I am glad the reformation happened. If you want the truth about Catholic beliefs then visit www.catholicanswers.com from someone who is catholic instead of someone who isn't or used to be. I have met a lot of Christians who left their Catholic faith because they never really understood the faith to begin with or never really studied the truth of it themselves. But it might be interesting to find out why Catholics believe or do what they do.

The false gospel, as you refer, is the doctrine that is described with a “mark”. This false doctrine is the doctrine that Protestants brought IN their foreheads (minds) after they came out from under the Catholic Church, the church whose foundation is built on the bones of Peter, a denier of Jesus not once but three times.

When Jesus said "I will build my church" He wasn't referring to a physical structure or worldly institution....the Pharisees made this same kind of error. When Jesus was asked how He might prove His divine authority, He answered, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” Those whose minds were on worldly things assumed He was referring to the physical temple. Yet it is then written, “…the temple he had spoken of was his body.”

Unfortunately all denominations are referred to as Protestants even though some never were a part of that doctrine. They kept in their body the marks of the finished work of Jesus, which is their foundation. They never heard the Protestant doctrine that they brought in their minds.

Both marks are of works; one the work of man, the other the work of Jesus.

I doubt there is a coincidental that “mark” is a word in “market or marketplace”. They make merchandise of you.

Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues"
Rev 18:4, And the protestants came out of her.

In the era of Jesus the only way of passing knowledge & way of life was by example & letters written by the disciples. Most people did not have these letters in hand & if they had, the chances of their interpretation was unlikely.

Approximately 300 AC, so-called religious sovereigns institutionalized the church. These monarchs of this “first church” authorized & used so-called “authorized Bible” of the gospels.

In 1604, King James heard Puritans complaints on the matter of the Bible requesting for a new translation. Why? The so-called “authorized Bibles” were corrupt & not answerable to the truth of the Original.” He gave order & the translation was made.

In 1611 a new translation, the first edition of the Authorized Version, emerged, called the King James Bible in honor of the king.

The Bible says clearly that it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and it is not of yourselves it is the gift of God - Ephesians 2:8
Catholics do not believe this. They do not abide by what the Bible says-- they lean on what their priest is teaching them and what their catholic bibles say.
I do not know every denom of catholocism, but the ones I DO know about, do not believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ the way it is found in the Bible- Jesus warns us about those who teach a different doctrine. If it does not line up with scripture than they are not walking in the truth.
I am a born again christian....saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, because of God's wonderful grace and mercy. It is a FREE GIFT He gives to those who will accept it.
John 3:3 says "Unless you are born again you cannot see the kingdom of God"
--This is to be born again in the Spirit of God-- redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ when you put your faith in Him, confess your sins to Him. You are saved, sealed with the Holy Spirit- justified and sanctified in His Spirit as Ephesians 1 says.
See Romans 10 as well.....you will notice many relegions do not teach this. Those who do not teach the sound doctrine of Jesus Christ are not teaching the truth. Jesus said this!

it is how they read the Gospel the bible should be the same bu the catholic church has a few more books in their bible than the slandered one. Jesus said call no man father but only God and only God is holy yet catholics call priests father and the pope holy Father that is defiantly against what Jesus taught.

Actually, Luther was basically talking about the "nature" of the Roman Catholic Church. Issues such as "Buying" office and things of that sort.

Yup. Unless they claim to have truth restored from God. None of the protestant sects do though, as far as I know.
