A Joshua Tree, just because they are the OLDEST living plants on the Earth and it'd be interesting to have witnessed the entirety of written human history. Just THINK of all the wisdom that I would have acquired in that time.

I remember reading this ancient scripture (not in the bible) that talked about how there was this tree called the tree of life. It was also called the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The scripture said that these two trees were actually one in the same and that for some reason, people didn't understand this. I think it would be really cool to be this tree, although I wouldn't be cool with some serpent tempting some lady with my fruit!!!!!!!!!!

I'd want to be a White Oak, because the White Oak has such a great relationship with the animal world.
It provides cover for many birds and small mammals, even in Winter, since its leaves often stay on.
Animals also use White Oak leaves and twigs as nest materials.
Many animals eat White Oak acorns, like Eastern Cottontail, White-footed Mouse, Eastern Gray Squirrel, Blue Jay, Northern Bobwhite, Wild Turkey, Mallard, Common Crow, Eastern Chipmunk, and Raccoon.
White Oak depends on these animals, especially Blue Jays and squirrels, to spread its seeds to new places so new White Oaks can grow.
White-tailed Deer, Beaver, and Eastern Cottontails are known to eat twigs and leaves of White Oak and some larger animals, such as Raccoons and Opossums, use White Oaks as dens if they have become hollow.

I'm not a Pagan, but I'd be a rowan tree.

"Greek mythology tells of how Hebe the goddess of youth, dispensed rejuvenating ambrosia to the gods from her magical chalice. When, through carelessness, she lost this cup to demons, the gods sent an eagle to recover the cup. The feathers and drops of blood which the eagle shed in the ensuing fight with the demons fell to earth, where each of them turned into a rowan tree. Hence the rowan derived the shape of its leaves from the eagle's feathers and the appearance of its berries from the droplets of blood."

Poplar.

I've always had a strange fascination with poplars, like some sort of a connection. My favourite time of the year is around Beltane, when poplars start to bloom and the air is thick with that fluffy warm snow. I just love it!
Besides that, apparently I'm also a poplar by some sort of a Celtic tree horoscope. I don't know how that works, but I like the result, teehee.

I'd have to say a witchhazel and that has nothing to do with being a witch. lol

To me I love the witchhazel. When it blooms it is beautiful. It's full of yellow flowers. It's a twisted trunk and limb trees. So for me it shows that no matter how plain and simple the tree can be at times, other times it's beautiful. Below is a link to the witchhazel

I am not a pagan, but I have thought of this from time to time. I would want to be a pine. They are consistent throughout their lives and each year strive to grow a bit. When the storms of life strike them they bow to the pressure, then spring back as good as ever.

A red maple tree. One that is red all season, and then turns fiery scarlet in the fall. I feel in intense contact with Mother Earth in the fall, especially right now, and when I see the colors turning to red, it is a signal to me that this is a time for stopping and sensing that which She is trying to tell me.
