a cop once falsely accused me of doing something I did not do, and I hated hated cops from that day on!!! He put words in my mouth and it was final to him. Luckily the DA didn't see it that way and dismissed and expunged my record, he knew the cop lied. I once had high regard for authority, not anymore!!!

I wanted to hurt a cop, but did not.
So answer is no.

It would depend on if the thinking about it included rational thinking of the pro's and cons of the action. If you dwell on the negative aspects and do not think about the consequences, you would probably do it.

You are describing the fine line..... the textbook difference between sanity and insanity.... between civilized and uncivilized.

Ordinary sane people can think of pretty much anything and that's where it stops.

Nutjobs don't see the line where the rest of us do...

Not necessarily. I have dreamed for years of putting a bullet in a certain someone's head, but haven't done it.
