They all do it. Mine went through a phase of only eating yogurt for over a week. I took her to the docs and he said it was fine just a phase. Told me to make sure she's drinking her milk. Get some follow on milk...It's full of nutrients so at least she'll be getting some goodness. Also if her tummy is a bit off because she's teething get some Ashton and parsons teething powders...They work wonders! :) You can get them in boots.

There is no need to worry. Kids are picky some times. They will eat when they are hungry. Just be sure she has plenty of stuff to drink so she doesn't dehydrate.
She very well may be teething, and if this is the case, try to prepare her some softer foods.
She also might be coming down with something. Just keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't start running a fever, however if she is teething a fever can accompany that as well. She will be fine. It is nothing to worry about.
Good Luck!

First child? If she is teething, then she hurts, and doesn't know what to do about it since she is only 17 months old. Don't panic, don't go off the deep end with worry. When she gets hungry, she'll eat. Just be ready to meet her need. I would recommend that you see about a numbing gel for babies to ease the discomfort.

My daughter has off days like that too, try not to worry as you may make eating into a big deal. If she isn't very hungry tomorrow try making an appointment with your doctor/health visitor for better advice. As long as she is drinking she will be ok for a day or two.

She fine...she'll eat when she's hungry. If it goes on for several days, then maybe take her for tests. But, it's normal for feast and famine periods in kids. My daughter ate what would be 2 dinners last night LOL Growth spurt! But then there are days she eats a couple bites and that's it. She's 4-1/2 and it's been this way since she was born....It's normal.

I wouldn,t worry unless it lasts longer than a few days.Perhaps she,s teething or is about to come down with a virus.Or she ate too much previously.Kids will eat when they are hungry. When she starts eating again don,t be surprized if she makes up for lost time by eating alot.

Don't worry. Kids will not let themselves starve to death. My son is 3 and he has been doing this lately. He only eats a couple of bites of most of his meals for a few days and then all of a sudden he pigs out for every meal.

She will be fine. Children go through stages where they will not eat hardly anything for days then they will eat everything in sight. This is totally normal and you shouldn't worry unless other problems are visible:)

Keep an eye on her fluids, mine never wanted to eat(she's 2 now) And then I realized it was because she preferred milk or juice, and that kept her full. Kids will never volunterely starve them selves.Dont be worried, all kids go through it, or most kids I guess...
