The bud shootout is for Past Champions of the Bud Shootout and drivers that qualified on the pole for a points race the previous season, so yes Dale will be in it, on both his pole from Pocono, and his past champion status, the #8 team will not automatically be entered unless it is driven by a pole winner from 2007, or a past champion of the race, so...is Mark Martin eligible for the Bud Shootout? Yes the answer is, if he is racing in Dayton in the 8 car, then the 8 car will be in as Martin won the race in 1999.

You are eligible for the Bud Shootout if you won a pole in the last year or are a former champion of that race. The fact that he is changing teams won't compromise his eligibility. Incidentally the 8 car will be eligible for the Shootout because Mark Martin is a past champion from 1999.

I think they will do like they do the all star race meaning that both the driver with his new team and the old team with their driver get to go into the race. I think maybe Jr.'s already locked into the bud shootout regardless as a former winner of that event anyway though.

Steevo is right.

Both driver and team (should there be a driver change) are eligible for the Bud Shootout and All Star.

Jr will be in the Shootout for the rest of his career b/c he won it in 2003. All past winners race in the Shootout.

I say particular. i'm bored with the lads interior the perfect 35 showing up and not engaged on qualifying. Make the pole nicely worth something significant. NASCAR already made wins nicely worth extra attempting to get men to race extra durable on the tip of a race, why no longer make the commencing up of the race extra exciting too. think of roughly it, in case you win the pole you get 5 factors after which you're in a top type spot to steer the 1st lap and get 5 extra factors.
