I certainly hope so...Darrell Waltrip already has a new campaign slogan for next yr for Dale Jr, 8 for the 88 in 08.. Heck I'd be happy with 8 wins... With Hendricks equipment he should be 100% better than he was the last two yrs for sure. He has the talent and the desire to win put that with the best equipment that only equals wins & championships..
Go Dale Jr Go...

Yes, Yes.... he will have a great car next year, with hopefully no engine troubles. The Hendrick cars are tops right now, and I think that is where JR will be next year. Next year, will be the year for JR!!! I think he will be much better once he gets away from Teresa & all that bad stuff between them. I say hurray to Robert Yates racing, for giving up the #88 to give to JR!!!! It does have a family tradition. Cannot wait to see what he can do next year!!!!!!!!

Actually I think the two 8's symbolizes that Jr will have a child ( little j ) soon. But yep he'll be better.

I think he is going to be twice as good, because he is in a Hendrick car, but twice as better, I dont think is okay grammar, so I wont say anything to that.
No matter the number Hendrick has the funds and the support from Chevy...I look to see Junior put one on the field next year.

Jr will be as he always has been. He'll win a race now and then, maybe one a year more now, but he's not now or ever will be like his dad. His new car isn't impressive either, it's average looking at best.

Numbers have nothing to do with it. Its the quality of parts teams use, driving experience, etc. Junior is an excellent driver, he just has to work with crappy engines..when he gets on the track in 08' in a Hendricks car, expect to see alot of wins and possibly a championship!

(Stay in school, sweet pea. Grammar is an important element in life. Spelling is a good thing as well. Most schools offer tutoring. You might talk with your parents about getting you some help with both.)
Junior: let's hope he finds that for which he is searching. The young man has such a legacy to uphold and the weight of it seems to be unbearable for him at times. I wish him some peace of mind. If the move enables him to find that peace, then we can all rejoice with him in that. The racing will take care of itself. He is who he is and he is what he is. And we'll all know much more about both things in 2008.

Well of course you can't compare DEI with HMS he'll be better, but nothing to do with the number change, it's the team change that will make him better!

I don't think it has anything to do with the number, but yes, he will be twice as good b/c the equipment is twice as good.
