I kind of deeply in love with a man who still had feelings for his ex. I know he is still talking to her, and it is a posibility they are going or still in the process of hooking up. Her name is JACKIE. But the problem is WHY DO I KEEP SEEING OR HEARING HER NAME EVERY WHERE. I am so sick and tired of hearing the name Jackie. for example. I go to the mall I need some help I walk up to a lady her name was Jackie, or I call the operator and her name is Jackie... I have finally got to the point where I left this man alone, because he still had feelings for his ex and I was getting hurt. So can anyone tell me why I keep seeing the current or ex's name so much...
P.S.. I have told him about this coincidence about her name, he told me that they are trying to get back together...Awww man!!!! I think i'm going crazy..

screw him hunni! it's prob just a coincidence, or maybe you're just so aware of him and her getting back together that you are picking up her name EVERYWHERE! just surround yourself with friends, family, hobbies, and the like. goodluck and best wishes!

I know they say time heals everything, and it is hard to wait for it, but it does. It doesn't help to have a replacement in the meantime. My daughter had her first love who was completely all wrong for her and treated her horrible, went with other girls and so on. Anyway, she has not gotten another flame since and finds herself thinking of him alot and seeing him everywhere. Mind you they broke up a year ago. Once you get him off you mind or find something or someone to fill your time with this irritation will easily seem non existent. Give yourself some credit. You are worth more than you think. Be sure the person you are with thinks so too.

That's funny that you mention this. I have that problem all the time. I'm trying to get over my ex and it seems that every name that I hear or see is his. It drives me crazy!! Everytime that I turn around, I hear his name - glad I'm not alone!! :)

Aww... you poor girl. I've been there. The sooner you forget about them, the name will go away. Maybe it's a sub-conscience thing. Try to meet a new guy, and put these two in the past.

Humans tend to look for patterns. To you, that name holds some significance, and maybe that's why you feel like it's springing up at you everywhere. Maybe it's that, or maybe it's 'cause it's a common name. Or both?

Maybe because it's a really common name there and you are really sensitive to that name so you hear it everytime it's said???

well...maybe he is onot the person for you....just try to talk with him seriously and you have to take a choice...stay with him and going mad...or just try to find another guy....maybe like that you will know what are yor'e feelings about him and take A REAL CHOICE
