since democrats refuse to do anythings about terrorism and illegal immigration....they do not have my vote...also they stand for legal immorality
therefore the vote will be republican.

Not sure yet. I'm Republican but am not happy with the War and am not thrilled with the candidate choice. On the other hand I'm not thrilled with the possible Democratic selections either. And I don't know of any third party candidate to stand up who has any chance in the big show.
To be blunt on my thoughts:
Bush and company (he did not act alone or in a vacume) botched the war and now we are in a quagmire that no one knows when we will get out of it.
Illegal Immigration is a mess. There are laws on the books that if they could be fully supported (and they are not) could help a lot with the problem. In many cases the illegal immigants just want a chance at a life that is impossible to get in Mexico and are only taking jobs that most Americans don't want.
But on the other hand they are a strain on all of our social services that have a hard enough time keeping up with our own less fortunate and they typeically are not paying taxes other than sales tax.
I say all of this to make the point that immigration is never going to be a quick or easy thing to answer.
I'm also not thrilled with what we arn't doing to help the environment.
So my problem is that I don't like anyone on either side and am wishing for an independent who can straddle the isle and be a true middle of the road candidate.

Ron Paul. He has the best solution for solving the problem of illegal immigration.
1) Remove birthright citizenship for all but the children of citizen parents.
2) Remove free schools, social security, and medical benefits for illegal aliens.
3) Put stronger border patrol.
This will remove the incentives for illegal aliens to come to the US and stay here. They won't be able to get their children become citizens, and they can't get free medical, and social security benefits, and also no more free schools. Stronger border patrols will catch more illegal aliens and deport them before they can get inside.

Illegal immigration always plays a role in my vote. As a person who promotes good jobs to middle class people, I hate the Corporatist Conservative push to dillute our workforce.

Yes illegal immigration factors into my vote... thats why I'm voting for a candidate that will actually protect and secure our borders, Ron Paul, He is anti-war, wants to lower taxes for the middle class and poor, voted no against the Patriot Act, voted no against the amendment banning gay marriges. He believes the United States should have a non-intervenionlist forgien policy where we trade and negiote with other countries instead of fighting useless wars where so many innocent people die. He wants to drastically reduce the debt the United States is in and restore our country to the democracy it once was. Finally we have a voice for the people.. one that isn't backed by corporations and lobbyists.. but by the people.. Ron Paul is a man of his word.. just check his track record.. He knows where he stands on the issues, unlike other canidates whose stances seem to change from week to week.. I truly believe he can boost the morale of this country and restore a democracy for the people not just for the elite...

Yes, Illegal Immigration is second on my list behind the War in Iraq. I am not happy with any of the candidates from either party, and find it terrible for democracy that neither party can put forward a single candidate that truly reflects the peoples views on these important issues. We need to end the insane crusade in Iraq and close up our border to the flood of illegal immigration. It is what the American people want and we can't find anyone to represent us?

I'm not sure yet, since I don't know who the nominees will be. I think immigration reform is something that needs to be tackled but I'm not so anti-immigrant that I would base my vote on it. I think a comprehensive look is in order and whoever can do that will be worth a second look. But Americans need to think hard about what they want...there will never be Americans who will pick fruit for slave wages, so tightening immigration laws will mean our produce costs will go up. Construction costs will go up. we'll have to pay more to take care of our elderly our kids and to get domestic help. meat packing plants will have to pay more for Americans, so meat will cost more.
