I completely agree with you. Everyone is born with some defect or other, be it physical, mental or emotional. Again, the word perfect is an abstract term because it cannot be 'perfect'ly defined! For example, a mirror looks perfectly smooth to our naked eyes, but under a microscope it appears like a mountain range. What looks nearly perfect from some angle or to someone, may look completely shapeless from other angle or to someone else. Nothing in the world is perfect. Even science is nowhere near perfection; 99.9% of physics is still assumption.
Oh yeah, my answer isn't perfect either!

All things in God's creation are perfect. We have been sold a false "bill of goods" People are exactly where they have put themselves to experience, knowing and experience are not the same, just as by being told, we do not truly know! We choose to experience. For example, What does "God fearing" mean. Why are we told that God wants us to be afraid of him? Why does God need us to praise him. I f we are "A chip off the old block" and are made like unto Him, then all that is wrong is our own doing and having given us free agency, he will not stop us from causing harm, but he does send helpers. What do we do to them! Nevertheless, all is perfect and what the Creator wants for us is not be prevented.

No one is perfect is true in all sense. Whether you mean it with reference to being sinful or being just simply doing something, no body indeed is perfect. The word PERFECT means 100%, complete in all sense, no blemish or failure, blameless, accurate and etc... I would say that these cliche can be derived biblically stating from scriptures as people being fallen from the glory of God. Look around you and tell me one thing on this world that you can say it's perfect.

no one is perfect because perfection is a figment of our imaginations. we always envision what we think perfect would be but have never touched or experienced perfection... i'm a recovering perfectionist and if you've ever dealt with someone like me.. its difficult b/c no matter what... we are never satisfied b/c nothing is every perfect-enough for us... there is no perfect perfect enough to satisfy my perception of perfection! Even after i clean my kitchen and i say... oh that's perfect.. i'm sure i can still find a little something here or there that could have been done better or differently...

I'm pretty sure that you could argue it does have religious orgins, since everything started with Adam and Eve. But it's common sense too to be able to look around and see that people make mistakes. No one can be perfect, that's just human nature because of free will.

I agree. not one of us are perfect. We all have some kind of short coming whether we admit it or not. If one could walk on water that one would be perfect. Any one saying they are perfect prove it to me by walking on water without any aide.

I personally believe that NO ONE is perfect. To me, one has to be without sin to be perfect and nobody is capable of not sinning.
8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
~1 John 1:8 (New International Version)~
As humans it's inevitable that we'll do it at one point or another. The only person to EVER walk the earth who was without sin was Jesus. He his the best example of what perfect is and should be.

I define perfect as one who does not transgress against the law (God's law) Everyone transgresses so no one is perfect, except of course, for Jesus who was perfect and, therefore, qualified to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.
Hope you have a great Thursday, too.

Perfect means without flaws, right? Well nothing and no one within the scope of human experience is without flaws. So my answer is: I agree... no one is perfect.
