to this day, sometimes at night, i'm very afraid to get out of my bed. i think there is a boogey man hiding underneath it, or in the bathroom. i know that there isn't anything actually there, but i can't keep myself from thinking that there just might be. i even get this feeling after watching a scary movie sometimes.

is this what it's like to be christian? (only in a pleasant way instead of scary) you just "feel" that god is real? if so, is that a valid reason to actually believe that he truly exists?

Yes I would say so, only when I feel the presence of God rarely do I have to wonder if he really is there.I know he is there because more often than not he proves it by answering my prayers.

Well lets see.
If the Monster under your bed has shaped the lifes of people like MOSES and ABRAHAM and King David, And King Solomon, and JESUS CHRIST

And if there are Commandments and rituals that have been past on for you to witness celebrations of punishments and rewards....

well lets see.
If that monster was known to have done other things toother people.
Then I would be worried.
Then Id do some research about the monster, and see if there was anything to be fearful of.

If someone hasnt read the Bible in its entiretyand done any research of history to see that there is actuallymore proof of the existance of the GOD of Abraham Isaac Jacob and JESUS CHRIST, well then does that person really know what they are talking about?

Guess its easier to believe in people that say we all started from one big bang and a one cell organism that use to reproduce ASEXUALLY, and somehow started reproducing sexually.

guess somepeople pick and choose what they believe in no matter how truly illogical

can no longer do it, sorry. If God is everywhere then he's under the mattress too. it is unlucky that somebody has made it appear as if a bad ingredient to be gotten. i think of it is greater proper he think of of God as a protector no longer a demon. perhaps you could play alongside with the fantasy and make it like G being under the mattress makes it a flying carpet and protects him from any monsters. merely proportion which comprise your son your ideals approximately G and that what you suspect is greater significant than what those different individuals have faith.

Nothing about Christianity should be based off of feelings. If it was based on feelings then we would worship God in the flesh and not in Spirit and in Truth. Everything Jesus did was spiritual. He Spoke to situations and they changed. He didn't feel the words literally changing the atmosphere, they just did.

Yes there are times where you feel God's presence and sometimes it's undescribable, you just know. However, the Christian faith is all just that....Faith! That's how you become a Christian, it's how you grow as a Christian, and it's how you stay a Christian...By Faith. Not by sight and not by feelings.

thats not the boogey man under your bed. thats a demon waiting for you to make the wrong move.
yes the concept is the same. both are a thought in your mind. both made up. it is a valid reason to believe he exists since it makes christians happy to believe in something.

Um, no.
I can look at my body, for one, and see that it is obviously sculpted by someone, and that it is millions of times more complex than even the most complex machine ever made by man. And yet, evolutionists will believe that the computer was designed, but the human body, which is millions of times more complex, came about by accident? That's not logical, as Spock would say.

Considering you have rejected God, you can be sure that his promise of Guardian Angels are not what you feel, so that opens up a lot for you to think about, while you lie in the dark.

Why do athiests have such a thing against people who believe in God? So what?? What's it hurting? Who's it hurting if I believe? I'm not one of those psycho bible thumping Christians judging everyone so it shouldn't bother anyone how I feel. It's like someone being gay. Who's it hurting? Why is it anyone's business but theirs? Good Lord!!

That's nonsense. As a realist child the only thing living under my bed was a flesh eating gorilla. The boogeyman is a fairy tale.
