I agree. And it is very likely that you believe that gnomes control everything because those gnomes called you to that belief. It is likewise with Christians (of which I am one). Christians believe what they believe because they were called to that belief by God.
I don't expect those in your gnomish religion to tolerate me, placate me, or pass laws to protect me. I am what I am because I'm called to be so by God. And I don't require me being taken into consideration. That doesn't mean I'm not going to talk about my God, or advance the morals and truths of the God I'm sure exists. And I don't expect those of the gnomish faith to like it. They're certainly not interested in what I like. I would like to get cheap air fares and hotels like they do though.

I think that it is reasonable also.....does Papa Smurf count as a gnome, and are smurfs members in the hierarchies of gnomes, or are smurfs are race of creatures unto to themselves?
