I'm religious, but I fear religious intolerance, fundamentalism, and fanaticism. I fear anybody who wants to turn their country into a theocracy.

I do my best not to live my life in an attitude of hate. When I choose to hold hatred in my heart, it only comes back on me and ends up hurting me. I don't want an feeling that strong to have power over me. Fear is very much the same. Sometimes I worry or fear that my bills won't be paid or that things won't work out the way that I desire them to. But, I remember, God is the Lord of my life and my life is in his hands. No matter how things work out, God is there for me no matter what. I don't hate anything. There are things that I dislike and wish didn't happen, but that's life. I learn from them and move on. With God, I have no one to fear.

Today I hate the way they make plugs on electrical cords with one prong bigger than the other.
Today I fear I'll stumble on the steps and break something vital and won't be able to get inside to wash the dishes before Christmas.

man I've made it till almost 1pm without hating or fearing anything yet! Better make up for it after lunch with a good long hate session
