wow, how sad that you see no point in your life, and must resort to fairy tales and mythological beings to find meaning.

Life is its own purpose, its own reward. I hope one day your life is good enough that you will discover that for yourself.

who says there has to be a point or some grand scheme.

if you are talking about from a scientific standpoint it is to procreate and pass on your genes to carry on the human species.

however if you are looking for some higher meaning like "we were born to save the world from xenu" or some crap like that you won't find it.

does life need to have "meaning" other than what you assign to it personally? isn't that what life is "about" ... finding a personal meaning?

God certainly could never give my life "meaning"
