Hollywood's "agenda" is making money.
Don't like what they are producing? Don't give them your money. Not only in not buying tickets to films, or renting films, but also not buying "celebrity" magazines, or toys or spin-off merchandise.
Go see indie films that you like. Take your friends. Take your family. Increase *those* profits. Buy tickets to indie film festivals.
Better yet, pony up the money to make the kinds of movies you'd like to see.
Put your money where your mouth is. Otherwise you're just whining.

Because your accusation of our "just whining" implies that you think that what Hollywood puts out is the way it should be, and that we should just shut up and enjoy the garbage. I think not.

you stand up to hollywood when you go to the fine arts theatre to see independant movies instead of hollywood movies.
its just whining when you complain about the price of tickets but wait in line half an hour anyway, then pay $6.00 for about $0.25 worth of popcorn.
